Barbralyn Roth, 56, passed away on May 20, 2024 in Boynton Beach, Florida. Barbralyn was predeceased by her father Jeffrey Roth and is survived by her mother Zenia Roth; brother, Jason and Steven Roth; uncle, Mick (Marcia) Jacobs. Read Obituary
I knew Barbralyn through our community synagogue…we were a few years apart in age…we didn’t have the same circles..
When I got the news about her father passing I was told she was transferring to CW POST/LIU….My mom told me to keep an eye out for her on campus and I did! I introduced her to my circle of friends and the rest is history…. No matter the distance and time we’ve always been there….my biggest regret was only hearing of her passing today…
So very sorry to learn of Barbralyn's passing. Although we had lost touch, will remember our Jew Crew days fondly and her resiliency after her stroke all those years ago. She had a kind soul! She used to tell us stories when she worked at Galaxy and everytime I hear soap on a rope I think of her (one of her kids used the term)! Hope she's hanging with our other members who have passed and is free of any suffering.
I am so sad to learn of Barbralyn's passing. I have fond memories of Passover seder with the Roth family. Zenia, my heartfelt condolences.

I am so sad today as I recall all the memories I have of Barbralyn, the Roth family and my family, growing up together in Kings Park. I remember dancing to the jukebox downstairs, I remember going to Ratners and watching the Macys fireworks on the 4th of July, I recall fondly all the Jewish holidays we spent together, and more recently I remember the last time I met up with Barbralyn down in Florida and we talked about our careers as teachers- hers as an elementary school teacher and mine as a middle school teacher. Barbralyn lit up when she shared stories about her students and it made me so happy to hear that she loved teaching as much as I did. Sadly, distance caused us to lose touch, but our moms kept in touch and so I always knew what was going on with her. My thoughts and prayers are with the Zenia, Steven and Jason and all who loved BL.
