Gail was a good friend for over 50 years. Although we didn't live close, we'd speak on the phone from time to time. The last time we saw Gail and Ed in person, they were returning to Florida from their summer home in New York and they stopped by to visit us in Maryland. I will think of Gail often as I learn to play Mahjong. That was one of her favorite games and I wish she knew that I was starting to play it. She would have been so happy to hear that. Gail was my step aunt. We spoke with Gail from time to time and were very happy that she was surviving her condition. We last saw Gail and Ed last summer when she visited us; she enjoyed the pool. She loved and was always happy to see our kids, Beth and David and Michelle, Dave's wife. Our hearts and prayers go out to dear Ed. He took such good care of Gail.

Gail was my cousin. I just spoke with her last week. She was more upbeat than usual, and was on her way to the movies with her beloved husband, Ed. She adored Ed. May G-d reward Ed for the way he took care of Gail in the last years of her life, as she was never ill a day in her life before that. Gail loved her Jewish Florida community, neighbors, and friends. For all of you, know that's where she wanted to be in her last days, with you all. When she vacationed in New York during the summer, she missed you all so much. May Gail's memory be a blessed.
