Saddened to learn about Len's passing. But his true being will live on in his loved ones and all those who knew him.
Dear Charlotte and family,
I am so saddened to hear about Len’s passing. He made such an impact in my life when I was a college graduate starting my career at Pall Biomedical. Taking me under his wing was the best way to describe it when I worked in Quality Assurance. His wealth of knowledge and patience will never be forgotten. Progressive in his thinking, Len made it possible for me to continue to work at Pall remotely at home when I had my children-this is going back over 30 years ago!
I remember Len and Charlotte welcoming my husband Chuck and I into their home in Huntington, New York for dinner parties. They both were so kind, generous, and accepting. When he spoke about his children, his face would light up- he was so proud of Maggie and Abe.
My sincerest condolences to the Berman family.
Len will always have a special place in my heart.

We are saddened to hear the news about Len. We enjoyed his company on many walks around Hidden Bay with Danny Boy. We will miss him.

Dear Charlotte, Maggie and Abe. The virtual shiva was wonderful. Abe, the recounting of your experiences and interactions with your dad I thought was beautifully done and evoked for me many memories of Len. Again, I was so very sorry and stunned to learn of Len’s death. We had just recently reconnected and were talking about getting together in person when things returned to “normal “. Len and I first met shortly after I had joined Pall Biomedical (in the 70s) at a place where he was presenting one of his scientific lectures. At that time the microphone was attached physically to the system with a chord. We laughed about the fact that at one point in the lecture his absentminded professor attribute was manifested by his becoming entangled in the chord. Len was such a mensch and many people are missing him. Warmly,
Howard Rosenberg
I am so very sorry to read of the recent passing of Len, I only met him once but liked him immediately. My love and prayers are going to Charlotte and family. Lovingly, Kathleen Murphy Chase
I am saddened by the news of Len passing. I loved his gentle and friendly way and he was acknowledged for his support in many places world wide, which he loved to visit in his times at Pall.
Len, you will forever be my favorite boss I ever had. And second dad. And so much more to me and so many people. Your legacy will live on forever in your beautiful family and you will be missed more than you could fathom. Thank you for being so wonderful to me for literally my entire life. I am simply heartbroken to hear of your passing. Charlotte, Maggie and Abe, my heart is with you now and always.
Charlotte,
We are so sorry for your loss. Len’s accomplishments are impressive. I am grateful that we got to share zoom dinners with both of you. We will always remember the lovely time we had when we spent 2 nights at your home. We especially enjoyed conversing with some one so intelligent who shared our political views.
