I was fortunate enough to meet Richard & have lunch with him & Jill several years ago in Boynton Beach. My cousin Joe had identified him as a relative thanks to Ancestry. His paternal grandfather& my maternal grandfather were brothers. Reuven immigrated to US, while his brother (my grandpa) remained in Lida & died prior to WW11 of cancer. Unfortunately neither Richard nor I were able to share much family history but it was an interesting lunch. Sincerest condolences to the entire family for this untimely passing. Very sad indeed. He was missed when he moved from Boston to Florida, and now will be missed at even a deeper level. Always a mensch, and ready to help, I knew him as a member of TBZ, of the TBZ men's group, and as a Jewish Men's Retreat participant. He also helped me in a law matter when I had a small consulting up and running in a way that was fair and equitable to all parties.
His memory of how it's done will stay with me always. My condolences to Jody and the rest of his family.

Rich was a good friend from the Boston area. I will miss him.
I have worked with Rich for quite a few years and can say that besides being a wonderful colleague, he was also a very good friend. Kind, considerate, smart and funny are just a few words that come to mind. He was a mensch, who is gone way too soon, and I will miss him terribly.
