Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Kaufman; sons, Michael (Lorena) Kaufman, Johnny (Nancy) Kaufman, Steve (Chrissy) Kaufman, Lawrence Shapiro, and Jonathan (Suzi) Shapiro; grandchildren, Lauren, Lance, Jeffrey (Alice), Sean, Theresa, Sydney, Noah, and Isabella; 2 great grandchildren, brothers, Martin Kaufman, Leon (Ilene) Kaufman, and Bruce (Jane) Kaufman; sister, Eleanore (Murray) Miller.
