Dear Dr. Port’s Family: I will be forever grateful for Dr. Port, as he was my primary care physician from 1965 until he departed the Syracuse area and during all those years and the many, many office visits, he was so knowledgeable and supportive to me personally and as his obituary stated, always with a tremendous sense of humor. My husband also was a patient of his and when he had a massive stroke at only 50 years of age, Dr. Port was so compassionate and understanding in the treatment he provided for many years. Mrs. Port and family - please accept my condolences for a life well-lived!
