Dorothy Vance
Mrs. Brown was my Dad’s secretary at the DOJ and BRC for 20+ years. She predated me with my Dad and was a truly lovely, kind, sweet, smart as a tack, elegant, cool under any circumstance, thoughtful and patient women. I spent may hours visiting Dad’s office drawing and playing with Mrs. Brown while she typed away, dealt with whatever came through the office door or whoever was roaring on the phone. She gave me the these two little ornament for the Xmas tree when I was three and I still have them. She and my family have stayed in touch all these years and we are all so very sorry to hear of her passing. My Dad used to call Mrs. Brown the best at everything she did and the most professional and loyal person he had met and was so glad to call her his friend. No matter how many times he asked her to call him Andy she insisted on calling him Mr. Vance. That was just Mrs. Brown. He was lucky to have her and I was lucky to know her. May she rest in peace. We send our sympathies to all of Mrs. Browns family. She would write about you all in her Xmas cards and how proud she was of each and every one of you. All our best The Vance Family
