Andy Abramson
Aaron hired me when I was only 16 to work on a pilot project called Hockey Central, as its tied for first employee, for what would be the first ever professional sports fan development organization, founded by The Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL.
Aaron was a mentor, guide, sounding board and friend for the nearly 13 years I worked with him. Two years after being hired, Aaron promoted me to Executive Director. I was 18 years old, and he saw things even I didn't know was in me.
His advice and friendship never waivered, and in my life, he was likely the best person one could ever work for and work with.
His passing is a loss to all who knew him, had the pleasure of working with, or were a part of his family. RIP.
