Adeline Merva's Obituary
Addie was born on March 23, 1965 in Bethpage, New York to James V. Gallo and Frances A. Wiehl-Gallo. She was a 1983 graduate of Plainedge High School.
Addie was a loving wife and mother above all things. She was a passionate animal activist and served as the President of the non-profit organization -Cat’s Meow Animal Rescue -for 14 years. Her love of animals and her efforts toward their care and protection was unparalleled. She was outspoken and strong-willed. She was kind, and if she loved you, she did so fiercely. Addie leaves behind a great number of people who will miss her and will continue to honor her legacy. She was loved, and we wish her peace.
Addie is survived by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Merva and her daughter Elise Rendell, both of Loxahatchee; and one brother, Cori Gallo of Massapequa, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Andrew James Merva, in 2021.
Arrangements are in the care of beloved family friend, Michael S. Register of Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach. A celebration of Addie’s life is planned for a future date.
