Alex Silver's Obituary
Alex Silver, 88, of Wycliffe Country Club in Wellington, Florida passed away Wednesday January 1, 2020. Alex grew up in the Bronx and then moved to Manalapan, New Jersey where he raised his family. He was married to his loving wife Rita for 66 years. Alex was an avid golfer who took much joy in teaching his entire family to play. He was also a very enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles fan. In addition to his beloved wife Rita, Alex was the devoted father of Steven (Amy) Silver and Mark Silver; the adored grandfather of Daniel, Ross, Mitchell, and Scott; and the dear brother of Harriet (Louis Pastor) Bernstein. Chapel services with military honors will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 3, 2020 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33437. Rabbi Stephen Pinsky will officiate.
