ALFRED HARMON's Obituary
Alfred (Al) Harmon, son of Leah and Joseph Hamovitz, passed away on April 14, 2017. He is survived by his dear wife, Muriel, of 67 years, his children, Lauretta Singer (Jerry), Jo Korder (Kenny), Alan Harmon (Stacey), brother, Bernie (Sue), and his six grandchildren, Jordana, Howard (Leah), Gregory, Joshua, Randi (Michael), and Lee. Al was the co-founder of the New York-based US Truck Body, served in the Korean War, was a Mason and a proud Jew. He often volunteered to lead services at nursing homes and was known for collecting names of those who needed prayers. Al loved books, movies, opera, fine clothing, entertaining, collecting, inventing, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Al was known for his stories, sense of humor, character and love of family. He was dignified, spiritual, wise, and a great friend. Al was humble yet somehow larger than life. He will be deeply missed yet forever honored and remembered by those who knew and loved him. Shiva will be observed Thursday at 7 pm at MorseLife-Resnick Auditorium, 4847 Fred Gladstone Drive, West Palm Beach, FL.
