He is a graduate of New York University and went on to study at Brooklyn Law School. In 1956, he met his future wife, Carole, on a blind date and were soon to be engaged and married on June 30, 1957. They enjoyed a lifetime together making memories by traveling here and abroad, sharing unforgettable adventures, and especially spending time with family.
Al started his career at Philip Hano, earning several businessman of the year awards. He reached the highest level of achievement at this company, and went on to start his own successful business, Gallery Business Products, with long time friend and colleague, John Stockman, until his retirement in 1996.
After retiring, wanting a warmer climate and ready for a new chapter in their lives, Carole and Al moved to Boynton Beach, Florida. At Valencia Isles, they enjoyed making new lifetime friends and having new adventures. Alfred loved playing cards, going to the dog races, taking cruises, watching sports (especially football and basketball) and following the stock market. He never missed out on a family occasion or milestone. He made friends easily and enjoyed the company of everyone he met, friends and family alike. He was a great conversationalist, an advisor and mentor. He will always be remembered for his love of family, his protective and caretaking nature, his great personality and his smile. We are forever grateful to our wonderful aides Chantale and Fabiola, who took such warm, loving and wonderful care of him. He will be missed and is forever in our hearts.
