Allan Shuman's Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allan Shuman on October 31, 2024, at the age of 78, in Atlantis, Florida. Allan, born September 2, 1946 to Franklin I. Shuman and Bernice S. Shuman in Hull, Massachusetts, will be remembered for his heart, passion for fairness, and illimitable love for his fellow human. Allan, a super-athlete, Superman enthusiast, super-man, trombone-playing football star, ballooney and sockball champion, potato ceremony co-officiant, nurse-flirter, Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins fanatic was also a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, mentor and warrior. He is survived by many that will miss him dearly - his children, Michael Shuman and Karen Shuman (David Lysen); grandchildren, Charlie Shuman-Lysen and Emily, Lily, Megan and Elizabeth Shuman; brothers, Eddie (Kathy) Shuman, Bill Shuman; sister, Deborah (Geoffrey) Kashdan; nephews, Alan Shuman and Seth Ullian; nieces, Jodi (Paul) Capobianoco, Miryam (Hani) Shuman, and Monika Ullian; his best friend, Jack Altschuler and his wife Marilyn; his fellow Mankind Project Warriors; and all of the many many others whose heart he touched. We love you Pops.
