ALLEN HOCHTMAN's Obituary
Allen was born on May 9,1931. He grew up in Coney Island, New York. He loved Coney Island and especially Nathan’s Hot Dogs and French Fries. He graduated from Lincoln High School. He joined the air force directly out of high school. He spent 4 years in the USAF. He was stationed in the artic circle for 18 months. He loved to tell stories about the Air Force, his time time in the artic circle, jumping out of airplanes, and all of the people he met. After the Air Force he hitchhiked his way to California where he lived 18 months. He returned to Coney Island and married the love of his life Lorraine. He worked for Lockheed as an airplane mechanic and even serviced Air Force 1. He moved over to sales and his gift for story telling, his charm and good looks made him successful. He got to travel all over the world and meet interesting people and was able to collect more stories to tell. After he retired he and Lorraine moved to Boynton Beach. He became a substitute high school teachers, he loved it and the kids loved him. If you ask any one to describe Allen they will say they loved him and enjoyed his stories. There was not a person who knew my father that didn’t recognize that he was special. He loved to help others and was very generous. He loved dogs and science.He adored Lorraine he loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He was certainly the rock and glue. He is I survived by his wife Lorraine, daughter Gena, and grandchildren Daniel,and Jake.
