ALVIN RUBIN's Obituary
Alvin Rubin, 91 years ,husband of the late Arline Cooperman Rubin, his childhood sweetheart.
A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, husband, companion and friend, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones on May 1, 2022. He will be deeply missed and eternally cherished.
Born to Anna and Herman Rubin in Philadelphia. After graduation from West Philadelphia High School, Alvin went to Tulane University and served in the Coast Guard. He ran the family business “Rubin’s Fine Furniture” for over 30 years. Alvin is survived by 3 daughters: Diane (Alan) Lieberman, Lisa (Bruce) Ginsburg and Susan Rubin; Grandchildren: Haley Binn, Nathan(Jessica) Lieberman, Aaron (Maradith) Ginsburg, Lauren (Joey) Allaham, Ariel Ginsburg, Andrew Ecker, Adam (Becca) Ecker and Kendall Ecker and many great grandchildren. In his later years, Alvin was lucky to have met Elaine Stratt. They spent 13 wonderful years together in Boynton Beach, Florida. Alvin had many passions; Golf, Cards, cars, boats, horses and swimming. Alvin had a great sense of humor and enjoyed every celebration to the fullest. Alvin Rubin was our inspiration. A Funeral Chapel Service will be held at the BETH ISRAEL MEMORIAL CHAPEL on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11:00 am. Located at 11115 Jog Road, Boynton beach, Fla.
