Anita Diane Greenspan's Obituary
Anita Diane Greenspan, 72, of Venetian Isles in Boynton Beach, FL passed away Monday April 9, 2018. Anita was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Cheshire, CT for 40 years before becoming a permanent Florida resident. Anita received her undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Masters in Education — both from Adelphi University in Long Island, NY. She was an elementary school educator in both Brooklyn and Connecticut as well as a founder of Northeast Thermography, a printing concern in Wallingford, CT where she worked for many years with husband Elliott. Anita was an enthusiastic boater and was known as an expert boat handler. Anita also enjoyed driving fast cars – especially her new Tesla. Anita was the beloved wife of Elliott Greenspan for 51 years; the devoted mother of Allan (Pam) Greenspan, Brian (Michelle) Greenspan, and Gail (Rick) Cannon; the loving grandmother of Sydney Greenspan, Jessica Greenspan, Michael Greenspan, Caitlyn Greenspan, Jake Cannon, and Jenna Cannon; and the dearest sister of Herbert (Adrian) Zaifert. Chapel services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 with interment to follow at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, FL.
