Annette Schleyer's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Annette Schleyer, a vibrant and loving woman who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Annette passed away on January20 at the age of 87, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and friendship.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 6, 1937, Annette was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. With her infectious smile, boundless energy, and warm spirit, she had a gift for making others feel special. She cultivated deep, lasting friendships throughout her life, and her home was always open, filled with joy and love. Annette was known for her kindness, generosity, and the way she could bring people together.
Above all, Annette adored her family. She was the proud mother of three children Joanie (Mark) Silverman, Steven Hayes, and Mark (Melissa) Schleyer and the cherished grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren— Max (Olivia), Alexis, Zachary, Andrew, and Jonah. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she found her greatest joy in watching her children and grandchildren thrive. Her devotion to them knew no bounds, and her presence will forever be missed.
Annette lived life to the fullest, savoring every moment and embracing every opportunity for adventure. She found beauty in the simplest things and taught those around her to appreciate the fleeting joys of everyday life. A talented artist, Annette brightened the lives of those around her, and left an indelible mark on this world.
She is survived by her three children, her five grandchildren, and a vast circle of friends who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eddie.
A celebration of Annette’s life will be held at Wycliffe Country Club on January 23 at 12 noon. The family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
Though we mourn her loss, we take comfort in the memories of her laughter, her love, and her beautiful spirit. Annette will forever be in our hearts, and her legacy of love and friendship will continue to inspire us all.
