Arlene Cabot's Obituary
Arlene Doris Cabot, 96, of Atlanta, GA., passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in Jersey City, N.J., to Harold and Ethel Weisman, Arlene lived in Livingston, N.J. and Boynton Beach, FL., before moving to Atlanta five years ago. Arlene graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn, N.Y., and enjoyed many years working in the garment district of Manhattan as a textile specialist. Upon retirement, she moved to Boynton Beach where she kept active for 31 years running charitable events for the Papanicolaou Cancer Society and ORT, while also enjoying cultural events with friends and family. Later in life, when her health was failing, the essence of Arlene's sweet, gentle personality was apparent and she brightened everyone with her warm and appreciative smile. She loved her family above all else. Predeceased by her husband Eugene J. Cabot, Arlene is survived by her two children, Hope Cabot (H.S. Brocker) of Atlanta, GA. and Jeffrey Cabot of Philadelphia, P.A.

Memorial donations can be made in her name to The Pap Corps for Cancer Research (https://www.thepapcorps.org ) or the Alzheimer’s Association (https://www.alz.org)
