I was very sorry to hear of Arnold's ( and Carole's) passing. I was a school aide at PS120 in flushing, starting in 1999 and became quick friends with Arnold. He definitely left an impression on me in the few years we worked together before he retired. I will remember him and Carole ALWAYS.

My grandmother was daughter of bernstein Jewish German ship merchant. He mother's maiden name was changed to Gibson in Ireland so the nuns would look after my grandmother as her mother died at age 11 and was taken in by nuns who looked after her and was paid by bernstein till she was 18nwhe the payments stopped. She was so well looked after by the nuns because of the high amount of money which was paid. I am just looking to find family/relatives. My grandmother is dead now. I have not stopped searching. I am hoping someday to.find some information thank you. I am sorry for anyones loss.
