Barbara “Bobbie” Harriet Kritzman (Buck) of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024. Born on August 17, 1935, in Chicago, Bobbie lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by family and friends.
Bobbie met and married her first love, Mark Kritzman, in Chicago. Together, they shared 30 beautiful years of marriage. Her family was the center of her world. She was a proud and devoted mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She had three boys who married: Michael (Lauren), Gary (Lauri), David (Mij). She was “Nana” to her cherished seven grandchildren: Adam (Sarah), Liza, Jack, Marnie, Morgan, Mark, and Katie.
After her husband Mark passed away in 1985, Bobbie found love again and married Gene Buck in 1987. The couple enjoyed their lives in downtown Chicago before eventually settling in Florida. They cherished their time together, exploring new places and creating lasting memories. After Gene’s passing in 2005, Bobbie continued to find joy and purpose in the company of her children and grandchildren.
Bobbie was predeceased by her loving sisters, Leenie and Lil. All who knew her will deeply miss her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
Funeral services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL. The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society instead of flowers.
