I am sorry and saddened for your loss.
I had the privilege of knowing Barbara and spending time with her and Ira every Thursday and one Sunday a month at the movies, which they loved attending.I will hold with me the memory of Barbara having to come out to the lobby to pull him away from me while he regaled me with a weekly joke, so I could go to work in the theater. And lately, I would look forward to seeing them in my zoom class, which would bring a smile every time. It will remain with me always.
My deepest sympathies,
Shelly Isaacs
Sending love and condolences and hoping that all of your wonderful memories will help to ease your grief.
Mrs. Pisetzner lit up a room with her dynamic personality and smile. She was warm and loving, and always knew the exact right thing to say. She never failed to make me feel welcome and cared about, especially when I needed it most. The world will miss her brightness, but her light shines through all the loved ones she leaves behind.
Love,
Maureen DelGuercio and family
So sorry for your loss
We met Barbara back in 1958 when Ira and Sam were in dental school. We attended each other’s weddings and had our first children 3 months apart.
We spent many good times together, including a weekend when both Sam and Ira were in the Navy and Army respectively. We visited in South Carolina and had Mindy and Sheri in tow. The funny story from that visit will remain private to protect Mindy and Sheri.
Barbara was always ready to celebrate every happy occasion with a big party. We were privileged to attend Mindy, Howard and Karen’s weddings and Ira and Barbara attended all our happy events also.
Without knowing the connection, Barbara and Ira’s granddaughter Jenna and or grandson, Misha attended Camp Raman the same year and became somewhat of an item. We used to joke about what we would wear to their wedding.
Barbara was instrumental in helping us to find an apartment to rent in Florida and once there, we had many good times enjoying meals out and shows . Through the years, Barbara was always ready with a happy smile and a zest for life. She brought laughter and “music” to all we shared.
We will miss your wife, mother, mother in law and grandmother forever.
May her memory be for a blessing.

I am very sorry for your loss.
I have very fond memories of growing up across the street.
Barbara was like a Mother to so many, but was my actual godmother and we shared a special relationship that I always cherished. So many great memories spending time with her and the Piz family. From earliest memories of sitting in the kitchen at Gower Street, where she wld make me a tuna sandwich, "with no pieces, because Pollacks don't like pieces". And i remember all the outings we went to together like concerts and fancy lunches where I would be challenged to finish large dishes on a bet. And all the times spent at the Swim club and the snack bar, where Ira would try to get me something and Barbara would be yelling "Oh Ira!". Lots of family gatherings and excursions, lots of love and fond memories. She was one of kind and I will miss her greatly.
My sincerest and deepest condolences to the family that I love so much. I am thinking of you with warmth.
