As the younger sister growing up in a loving home with two parents who devoted themselves in providing for our well being, we constantly talked about how blessed and fortunate we were to have the parents and foundation.
As sisters we had a close relationship, although as the pesky little sister I could often get off track; ie as the night I decided she could use a hair trim, so I cut her hair while she was sleeping. This was not in my best interest.
Bobbi went on to nursing school and worked at Robert Wood Johnson hospital until she retired after 50 years and moved to Destin,FL. In 2005 they moved to Boynton Beach where they were warmly welcomed. They were involved socially and very happy.
Bobbi has always been a very caring and compassionate woman, tending to the needs of our parents, family and also health issues with inlaws.
As of recently, her focus was on her husband and her health issues, such that Assisted living was indicated for both of them. However within a short time her mental issues worsened and Hospice care took over until her quiet demise.
Life is too short, as our childhood memories seem like yesterday. I will always remember times of laughing, crying and saying, "it's okay to agree to disagree". I realize now how much she meant to me and it saddens me that I do not have her in my life to "disagree". Always, your loving sister,Betty
