Beatrice Kalb's Obituary
Beatrice kalb, 97 of Delray Beach, FL passed away September 13, 2014. Beatrice was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Union, NJ from 1942 until she moved to Delray Beach, FL in 1980. While living in NJ she worked at Rip Van Winkle Sleep Shop as an office manager & bookkeeper for many years. She was also very active in her community, synagogue and was President of The National Council of Jewish Women. After retiring and relocating to Fl, she loved going out for dinner and playing cards and Mahjong with her friends. Her other great pleasures were traveling and being with her family. Beatrice was predeceased by her late husband George Kalb and her brother Allan Forman; beloved mother of James (Judy Hsu) Kalb, Joan Kalb and Marilyn Kalb; sister of Jules Forman; grandmother of Mindy (Mark) Isaacs, Lynda (Richard) Nemet, Debra Pendolino, Sandra (Eugene) Mcguinness and Jalal (Brian) Hoehler and greatgrandmother of eight. Chapel service to be held at Menorah Chapel in Union, NJ, Wednesday, September 17th at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Mt. Lebanon in Iselin, NJ.
