Beatrice Levine's Obituary
Beatrice “Bea” Levine, age 93, passed away on November 29, 2025, in Stuart, FL. Bea dedicated her life to her devoted husband, Gerald “Gerry” Levine, her children, Michael (Kathy) Levine, Glenn (Carrie) Levine, Joan (Ken) Isman, Phyllis (Brian) Dennis, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her many friends, and the communities in which she lived. She was pre-deceased by the love of her life, husband “Gerry”, her grandson, Joseph Levine, her parents, brother and sister.
Bea was raised in the Bronx and Brooklyn, NY, and met Gerry as teenagers. They married immediately after Gerry finished college and spent the next 67 years of their life together. They started their family in Maryland then moved to Corning, NY, where they continued to grow their family. Gerry worked for Corning Glass Works. Bea worked for Corning in customer service for a few years as the children got older. They retired to Boynton Beach, FL, in 1987 and moved to Stuart, FL, in 2019.
Bea was active wherever she lived. She was a Cub Scout Den Leader, involved in the PTA, active in the Jewish community in Corning-Painted Post and Elmira, was President of the Sisterhood at Temple B’nai Israel in Elmira, NY, a life member of Hadassah, and enjoyed participating in educational and social activities.
Bea embraced life wanting to try new things and travel to new places. Bea loved to entertain family and friends. She had a great ability to talk with anyone, make them feel comfortable, and form friendships that lasted a lifetime. Bea will be remembered for her beautiful smile, laughter, good luck and her “magic purse” which always seemed to contain anything one needed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 26, at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach, FL. Bea will be inurned next to Gerry, at the South Florida National Cemetery.
