Bernice Fishbein Meisels' Obituary
Bernice Fishbein Meisels, 95, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024, at Aston Gardens Retirement Community in Parkland, Florida where she had resided for the last eight years.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by her loving parents, Gussie and Adolph Fishbein, Bunny was the youngest of four children, Harry (Norma) Fishbein, Freyda (Harold) Tiktin, and Florence (Harry) Goodman, all of whom have pre-deceased her. Throughout almost 40 years of marriage, Bunny and her husband Sol Meisels (deceased) shared a love of travel and close family ties. When Sol retired, they moved from Farmingdale, NY, to Boynton Beach, Florida where they had family and made many friends. Bunny enjoyed spending time with family, including her siblings, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She survived her siblings, but always remembered their wonderful times together, instilling in her daughters a love for family - a tradition we will happily continue. We three, Lynn, Jan, and Jill, (the Meyers girls) will always be grateful for our aunts and uncles, as they enriched our family life.
Bunny is survived by her three daughters, Lynn (Steven) Osher, Jan (Dan) Tintner, and Jill (Ram) Ben-Dor, her nine grandchildren Shanee, Michael, and Dara (Osher), Ariel, Adam, (Malek), Dayna Lazarovitz, Guy, Tom, and Dan (Ben-Dor), and her six great-grandsons.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday May 29, 2024 at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473 at 11:30 a.m. Shiva will be held at the residence of Steven and Lynn Osher on Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to 8pm.
