Beverly Sheila Salzberg's Obituary
Beverly Sheila Salzberg, 88, of the Grove in Boynton Beach, FL passed away Sunday April 22, 2018. Beverly and her late husband Harvey were residents of the Parsippany, NJ area before coming to Florida. They were married for 59 years until his passing in 2012. Beverly was an unselfish loving person who possessed a good sense of humor. She was talented and scholarly and enjoyed painting and at one time wrote for a newspaper. One of her paintings was selected for display in a museum. A civic minded member of her community, she was active in the Brooklawn Civic Association back in NJ and at Temple Beth Kodesh here in Boynton Beach. Beverly was interested in traffic safety and was instrumental in the placement of new traffic controls in dangerous intersections around Boynton Beach. Professionally Beverly was a legal secretary at a large insurance firm where was proud to be the first in her office to use a computer. Beverly was the devoted mother of Alyson Daniels and the late Arlene Salzberg; and the dear grandmother of Rachel, Ariella (Patrick), and Shayna (Lior). Chapel services will be held at 1:45 PM Monday April 23, 2018 followed by entombment at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. Rabbi Michael Simon of Temple Beth Kodesh will officiate.
