I know this is very late but I am read it for the first time. I have tried to find an address for Joycefor years. Arnold was one of my dress vendors for many years. He and brother Aalann were my most favorite vendors. I was so sad to read that Alan passed away, and now, his beloved Brett.

Please get this to Joyce for me.💕🙏🏻😢
I was in Renaissance with Brett back in the day. We found we had a lot in common when we met. Brett and I were both New Yorkers. We even discovered that we bought our DOC on the same corner from the same crew. And we found ourselves in the same treatment center. Brett was a good friend during my time at Renaissance.
We stayed in touch for a few years afterwards but, as often happens, we lost touch. I was thinking about Brett today day for some reason, so I went online to reach out and say hello. I cannot tell you how sad it makes me to find this page.
Brett and I both went on to work in addiction treatment. He worked at Renaissance for a while and I was actually offered a job there. Full circle.
My memories of The Renaissance Institute are wonderful. It was a life changing experience. A big part of that is due to the support and friendship Brett showed me. Brett and the others at Renaissance at that time saved my life. I can never express my gratitude adequately. My sincere condolences to Brett's family. The world seems an emptier place today.

Brett changed our family forever. My son went into residential treatment at Life Skills of Southern Florida. Our entire family did a family weekend with him. I got sober 10 months after my son with his help.
You left the world a better place. In my heart always. our family will always be grateful.
I am so sorry for your loss.
So very sorry to hear this news, Brett was a classmate, a sweet guy and wry observer. My deepest sympathies to you, all love and light. Francesca
Such a loss. My deepest sympathy to Joyce, Allison and Julia. Having worked with Brett for many years we both agreed that we learned from each other… this was truly mutual respect. He will be missed… RIP my friend!
Praying for peace and understanding in this difficult time.
Rest In Peace amigo.
The truth is of course is that there is no journey. We are arriving and departing all at the same time.
