I met Bud over 15 years ago. He became my mentor friend and conductor. Bud helped me learn how to sing and was always patient and constructive. We worked together in the Bellaggio Teatro club and in Bud’s Veteran’s Day shows. But the most precious memory I have of Bud was during his last months. He called weekly to keep my spirits up during the pandemic and to make sure I was well. Little did I know that he was saying good bye.

I was honored to have known Bud and be his friend for 17 years. We performed together in many Teatro Bellaggio shows. For the past 8 years Bud devoted himself to creating the Veterans Day Show in Bellaggio and raising money for our troops overseas.
Bud was a special man, very creative and very caring. He bravely battled cancer but never let it slow him down. He spent hundreds of hours creating the Veterans Day show every year and raised tens of thousands of dollars for our troops overseas. I was proud to participate in that effort.
I, along with many others, will miss Bud enormously, but his memory and his legacy will live on.

What an honor to have known Bud, he was such a wonderful warm soul, with a heart of gold for our veterans, United States Armed Forces and people in general! I developed a special bond with him over the years, as he was so committed to helping me and my organization, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, in support of our troops. His awesome Veterans Day show with the amazing cast year after year raised over $50,000 over the years. His compassion for the troops, along with his amazing cast from the shows and the community of Bellaggio certainly made a difference in the lives of our deployed US Troops!!! I will always be indebted to him and the Bellaggio Red, White & Blue Entertainment Club. I was not only blessed knowing Bud, but I got to know and love his beautiful wife Debbie, and one of his daughters, Laurie, and his granddaughter. His songs and writing of his Veterans Day Shows for his community will sorely be missed by not only me, but by all whoever had the opportunity to attend his Veterans Day Shows. I included one of his songs in a prior newsletter that went out to over 3500 people nationwide, and will continue to share his songwriting and music. BUD, I know you are writing a song right now, and please know you will be forever missed! We love you and miss you already! May you Rest in Peace! To Debbie, and the entire family, my deepest condolences and lots of prayers and love to all of you! It was an honor to know Bud!

“Bud” was a strong and resilient person. His many talents included his master of the keyboard and his incredible song writing. He sang and played the piano at various places on Long Island and Florida. One of his patriotic songs is heard at the Freedom Tower which is the 9/11 memorial. He acted and sang in many Teatro performances. He, also, at one time sang in the Singers of Bellaggio. His most incredible accomplishment was his production of the annual Veterans Day Show at Bellaggio which he produced and directed and wrote music. The proceeds went to the Forgotten Soldiers.
On a personal note, whenever my children came to visit, he openly embraced them and they appreciated that. My grandchildren have memories of going to he and Debbie’s “dog birthday parties”. Having a great time. Bud had a lot of compassion. He was so kind to me when my husband Benny passed away. He or Debbie always called making sure I was not alone. He and Debbie took me out to dinner Often and was so kind to even take me out for my birthday that difficult year.
He and especially his talents will be sorely missed. He is now In the celestial realm waiting and sing his songs and playing his piano to the glory of God. Lillian Yedwabnick
