Burton B. Polansky's Obituary
Burton B. Polansky, 84, of Coral Lakes in Boynton Beach passed away Sunday February 1, 2015. An attorney, Burton was formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he was active in civic affairs as well as being very involved with the Milwaukee Jewish community. At Coral Lakes he served as a member of the Master Board, was VP of Regal Shores, President of the Duplicate Bridge Club and the Men’s Club, a member of the C.O.P. and was in charge of the Ushers for Coral Lakes. An avid bridge player, he achieved Silver Life Master status in Duplicate Bridge, and was a racquetball and paddleball player. Burton was the beloved husband of Sheila for nearly 60 years; devoted father of Geela Spira, Laurel (Hezi) Kadouri, and the late Cheryl Baraty; cherished grandfather of Tali, Ami, Yaniv, Yitzak, Emunah, and Mendy; and dear brother of Ronald Polan. Chapel services will be held 10:15AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog. Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach. The family will observe shiva privately. A community gathering in honor of Burt’s memory will take place on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 from 7:30PM to 9:00PM in the Palm Room at the Coral Lakes Clubhouse.
