Hi everyone. I am so very sorry to hear of Cousin Carls passing and wish I could be there for the ceremony and shiva. Carl will always burn bright in my memory for being so positive and happy. His sense of humor was legendary. He lived a life full of love from his devoted wife and children. I believe he took the role of husband , father and grandfather as a great honor. I always felt warmth and appreciation in his presence. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.
Dear Cousins, I heard the news yesterday which was Monday. So sad to hear about Carl who was a wonderful, huggable, lovely inspiration to all.I was able to get plane tickets and should arrive at the Ft. Lauderdale airport around noon on Wednesday. I will rent a car and drive directly to the National Cemetery but if I am late just know that I will be there. I will save my words until I am with you in person.Love you all,Cousin Cheri
Dear Cousins,I am sorry to learn about Carl's passing. My heart goes to each of you as we begin to mourn his passing. For me, Carl will always be remembered for his ability to laugh and to find the humor in every event, (in a loving and kind way). I remember going with my dad to pick up the snappy clothing he helped my dad pick out from Raleigh's menswear. When I was little I was amazed by Carls ability to drive safely for hours and hours, and that he never seemed to get lost ! He was a gentle and kind man with much love for life and he will be missed.Love,Cousin Wendy
