Carol Adelstein's Obituary
Carol Susan Adelstein, 82, of Boynton Beach, formerly of Greenlawn, NY, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2023, after a ten-month battle with multiple chronic illnesses.
Carol was born on October 9, 1940, to Albert and Frieda Moak. She shared a close bond with her sister Marilyn Woghin, who preceded her in death. Carol's legacy is carried forward by her devoted husband of 63 years, Marshall Adelstein, who stood by her side throughout their remarkable journey of love and companionship.
She leaves behind a lasting imprint on her family, including her two daughters, Alyse Nendza and Lauri Klein, and her caring son-in-law, Adam Nendza. Carol's unconditional love extended to her grandchildren: Michelle Nendza, Danielle Nendza and her fiancé Zackery Grantham, Josh Klein, David Klein, and Benjamin “Benny Klein”. Her guidance, warmth, and cherished moments will forever remain in their hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Carol's life on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 10:15 a.m. at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Delray Beach. This service will be an opportunity for friends and family to remember the impact she had on their lives, and to find solace in each other's company during this time of loss.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to PAP Corp. Carol's commitment to community service and her passion for giving back are values she held close to her heart, and supporting PAP Corp is a fitting way to honor her memory.
As we bid farewell to Carol, let us remember her as a loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother, and a friend who left an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will forever be a source of inspiration and strength for her family and friends.
