Carol Eve Young's Obituary
Carol was born in New York City but made Miami her home since early childhood. After attending Miami High School, she studied at the University of Miami and earned her degree in Education. She taught elementary school until she realized her true passion was to travel the world for exploration and adventure. Alongside her husband Richard, they touched ground on nearly every continent and cruised the vast seas. Being an entrepreneur and avid globetrotter, Carol turned her teaching skills towards helping others visit their magical destinations by curating personal travel experiences.
Carol made her final departure on May 23, 2024, at 6:25 p.m. surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Richard Young and her 3 children: Howard, Steven, and Amy. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Hunter, Jackson, Sadie and Scarlett.
Carol was best known for her kindness, generosity, and her beautiful perspective on life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Carol was endlessly captivated by the allure of exploration and loved to share this fascination with those around her. Her memory will forever endure as a cherished inspiration and embodiment of living life to its fullest.
