Many years ago (1988 ish) we were celebrating Hanukkah at their Kendall home. Jason had made a menorah at nursery school. We lit it, along with the “regular” menorah. We left them lit, and went to another room. Jason’s menorah ignited the beautiful table cloth. Celie’s reaction: “Don’t worry, it’s only a tablecloth.” As always, with her beautiful, warm smile.
Celie really enjoyed Passover with all the props. Leaping frogs were everywhere. She made Passover extra fun for all. Never mind the delicious food. She put love into everything she did.
Celie will be missed.
