Charles O. Carey's Obituary
Charles O. Carey, 49, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away December 8, 2019. Charles was a respected musician and music teacher. He was a multi-instrumentalist who embraced all musical genres, but his passion was for the electric guitar - especially jazz guitar. He was a devoted fan of guitarist Pat Matheney. Charles was also an enthusiastic sports fan and looked forward to his weekly basketball game. Charles was the beloved husband of Tamsyn, his wife of 20 years and an especially devoted and loving son of Janie Englert. Charles is also survived by his faithful and loving tuxedo cat, Rufas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday February 1, 2020 at Palm Beach State College's Lake Worth Campus, Center of Bachelors Program (CBP Building), Room 103.
A scholarship at PBSC in Charles' memory will be established at PBSC in the near future, details to be published in this notice once determined.
