He was one of my dearest friends. He would come up from Florida to all his business and of course we had to go to the movies. But before we went he always had to check with Nancy first to know what was the best movie to see. Of course dinner before every movie. So many different restaurants. And the nights of Shabbat A prayer always and all the accolades for his lovely wife Nancy first then a blessing for our children.
Then there was golf. How he loved golf. The last time we played was the Mickey’s Golf tournament even though he was pretty sick. Our foursome came in first in the coed division. Do I need to say who represented the female in our group who allowed us to win.
Cvi was such a joy to be with. So many great times for over 30 years. He always had an great smile. He always made you feel so important. So to my friend Cvi. Thank you for allowing me into your family and sharing them with me for so many years thank you for so many wonderful memories and sharing all the Jewish traditions. So I will share a prayer and a blessing for my family from Ireland.
May the road always rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again may the God that loves us all hold you in the palm of his hand.
Thank you for everything
