Cynthia Kallan's Obituary
Cynthia Kallan, 91, of Vi at Lakeside Village in Lantana passed away Saturday October 14, 2017. Formerly of Brooklyn and Staten Island, she was a former resident of Palm Isles in Boynton Beach. She was an accomplished and enthusiastic artist and art historian. A special education teacher in the New York City Public School System, Cynthia held a Masters Degree in Special Education — achieving this milestone while she was in her mid 40’s. Cynthia was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold Kallan. They were married for 70 years until his passing in August of this year. Cynthia leaves her devoted children Steven (Susan) Kallan, Ronald (Jutta) Kallan, and Lisa (Stephen) Eisenstein; her cherished grandchildren Jeremy, Sara, Lea, Levke, Jacob, and Hanna; and great grandson Linus. Memorial services will be held at 10 AM on Sunday October 22, 2017 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33437. Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery.
