Dale Jan Fitzgerald, 73, of Wellington, FL passed away on April 10, 2025. She is survived by her beloved husband, John; loving children, Ian (Hope) Fitzgerald, Melissa Fitzgerald (Josh Hyber); step-daughters, Kelli Ellis and Katie Read Obituary
Dale was 5 years my senior so since her sister Roberta and I were only 6 months apart we were closer. Whenever we visited them at the apartment in Flushing I always looked forward to hanging out w Roberta. Well this one time I was about 12 so Dale must have been 17 and Roberta was out with her friends before we arrived so I was bored. But cousin Dale had her girlfriend over and they took me into the room they were playing Moody Blues records and talking about boys they liked. I clearly remember really paying attention to “Nights in White Satin” as they played it over and over. I felt so cool hanging out w these high school girls! God bless cousin Dale, RIP.
