David was one of my best friends from the summer of 1970 at Camp Lakota. We worked together at the waterfront teaching swimming to children. He was a lot of fun . I lost touch with him over the years and only recently noticed that he had died from the entries on his facebook page. He was young. So sorry for the family's loss.

I’ll miss you David. There are a lot of memories floating by; mostly hanging out, and going to concerts, lots of concerts together. We saw the Kinks at the Felt Forum, and so I’ll leave you with these words: Thank you for the days/Those endless days, those sacred days you gave me/I’m thinking of the days/ I won’t forget a single day believe me.

Dave, This is just one of many great times we had together. There are to many great times we had, Camp Kolang !! Will never forget when we where off from high school and in Miami. We will took a bus in the middle of the night to Marathon Fl. When we got off the bus it was pitch black and walked over to the camp ground. We pitched a tent and when the sun rose there were hundreds of tents all around us
A few days later we hitch hiked to Key West and that was a magical and a non forgettable time for both of us
Being completely sunburned we rubbed Aloe all over us and all we did was laugh
Thanks to that trip I had said I will be back to this magical place. I had moved to Key West the following year where I went to community college
David my dear old friend I will miss you very much and love you
I will see you on the other side hopefully not to SOON
