DAVID MILES's Obituary
David Miles age 92 of Boynton Beach passed away on July 31st. Beloved husband of Mala Miles; Loving father of William (Diane) Miles, Michele (Paul) Berger, and the late Roy Miles; Cherished grandfather of Heather (Silver) Miles, Chelsea Miles, Robert Berger, and Ryan Berger; Devoted great grandfather to Ezra, Elsbeth, Josiah, and Evangeline Gerety. David was a Holocaust survivor; he was interviewed by the USC Shoah Foundation, and a link to that interview ishttp://vhaonline.usc.edu/viewingPage?testimonyID=26260&returnIndex=0. He was a ham radio operator, KB2TOE, who worked with Florida Emergency Services to provide communications during hurricanes. He was known in CB Radio circles as Green Thumb, with a national reputation for the radios he modified and sold. He was also an avid gardener, and his house is still surrounded by the garden he planted over the years.
Services will be held 11 am Monday, August 5th at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 685 Fairview Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022. Donations may be made to the United States Holocaust Museum (www.ushmm.org)
