David Morris Waldman's Obituary
David Morris Waldman (Dave) September 16, 1942 – June 1, 2025.
David Morris Waldman, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Bonita Springs, Florida, surrounded by the love of his family. Dave was born in Malden, Massachusetts to Max and Minnie (Libman) Waldman. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Susan (Trehub) Waldman; loving daughters Lisa Friedman and Karyn Samuel; sons-in-law Ari Friedman and Rowan Samuel; and four cherished grandchildren: Noah and Eli Friedman, and Jacob and Alex Samuel. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Judy Trehub, nephews Ken and Eric Trehub, and a large extended family of cousins and lifelong friends. Dave graduated from Northeastern University and went on to earn his MBA from Babson College. He spent much of his career as a purchasing manager at Wang, Digital, Compaq & Hewlett-Packard in NH and MA, where he was admired for his humor, kindness, and dedication. A proud and passionate Boston sports fan, Dave never missed a televised Red Sox game if he could help it—and cheered just as loyally for the Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins. He was Neil Diamond’s greatest fan, loved the song YMCA, and he never missed an opportunity to clap along to his own beat. Known for his gentle wit, unwavering integrity, and deep love for his family, Dave left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His memory will be carried forward with love and gratitude by all who knew him.
Funeral services will take place at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Delray Beach, FL on Wednesday, June 4 at 12:15 PM.
The family welcomes donations to Jewish Family and Children's Services of Boston www.jfcsboston.org or Vitas Community Hospice www.vitas.com
