Sad to learn of Debbie’s passing. She was so much a part of my Sun Valley life that created such good memories. I hope she is sitting poolside on a chaise lounge, with sun glasses and laughing. June Oliva (at that time)
I am so saddened to hear this. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Debbie and I were good friends at Lexington High. We attended many of the sports events together, but my most vivid memory was working on a couple of projects together for our Commercials class. We made a diorama of 12 cigarettes placed as jurors in a cigar box and played "Stop in the Name of Love". I asked her not long ago if she remembered that, and she said, you bet I do." She was always a very caring, upbeat, and friendly person. We lost touch, but recently connected the last few years on Facebook. I will miss her lovely, caring comments. I know she was struggling with her health, but seemed to have a positive outlook. Now she is at peace.
