Dinah Paul's Obituary
Dinah Paul, of Delray Beach, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, at Pinecrest Hospice Care, with her husband at her side.
Dinah was born March 29, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of Max and Mollie (Sherak) Zwerling. She is survived by her husband Stanley Paul, three sons – Michael (Diane) Paul, Richard (Joy) Paul and Gary (Johnna) Paul, her daughter Caren (Mark) Paul Mitchell, her sister Rose Fisher, her grandchildren Alicia Taylor, Heather Branin, Ashley Paul, Lindsey Paul Nares, Juliet Paul and Bradley Paul, and two great grandchildren, Natalie Branin and Aiden Paul Guttman. Dinah was pre-deceased by her parents and her son, Brian (Marcy) Paul.
Dinah raised her children in Rye, New York and worked in the family business in New York City before she and Stan retired to Florida in 1998. She was an avid tennis player, skier, reader and gardener. She was a longtime member of the Delray Beach Orchid Society. She traveled the world and kept a journal from every place she ever visited. She also enjoyed singing for many years with the Sweet Adelines International and most recently with the Weisman Center Chorus of Delray Beach. She loved playing cards and all of her many pets over the years, especially her border collies Toby, Lily and Jamie.
Funeral services will take place at Beth Israel – Boynton Beach Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd (SW corner of Jog & Woolbright), on Sunday, April 19 at 10am. Dinah’s family will receive friends at their home in Delray Beach after the service – 330 Glenwood Drive in The Hamlet.
