Don Philip Block's Obituary
Don Philip Block, 66, of Aberdeen in Boynton Beach passed away suddenly Saturday December 17, 2016. Don was raised in Cherry Hill, NJ and also lived in Myrtle Beach, SC as well as Ft. Lauderdale, FL. After a short teaching career, he became involved in the hospitality and leisure industry and managed hotels and resort properties. Don also ran a health food store with his father, Dr. William A. Block. He was able to retire early and loved to spend his time outdoors, especially in his garden where he did all his own landscaping, hardscaping and maintenance. Besides creating his beautiful outdoor space Don loved sports… especially NBA basketball. He was the loved and loving husband of Carol Block; devoted son of Judy Block; dearest brother of Jeffrey (Janice) Block, Bonnie Block, Amy (Derek) Block, and Bobbi Block. Don is also survived by his wife Carol’s family; her son Ryan (Sari) Small, daughter Lindsey (Michael) Delrahin, and her grandchildren Alexa and Zachary Delrahim. Memorial services will be held at 3PM on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33437 with Rabbi Joe Fishof officiating.
