To My Daddy Don..oh what a joy to have had you in our lives..I never called you my Step Father or Don, you were my Daddy Don a very special man that truly loved all of us. The special place in my heart for you will forever live on. You stepped in so many times in my life and held me close, always showing love, support and your wisdom. You were Pop Pop to my Lil Sammy (Sam Boy) and Sammy always went to your side or laid at your feet. I always knew that Sammy was in great hands all the times I traveled and you and Mama watched him for me. Thank you Daddy Don for loving Mama and all of us so unconditionally. You were always a man of few words, a man of honor with the upmost integrity. I did my very best to honor your wishes when you sat me on the bench outside your apt and made me promise I would take care of your wife, my mama just days before you became so ill. We always knew you were watching over us, we felt your presence so many times. You and Jesus take care of my Mama as I await the day that GOD calls me home so we and all our loved ones can all be together again...XXOO
