Donald Wortman, 78 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2016. Donald Wortman was born in Buffalo, New York on March 3, 1938. Donnie, as friends and family referred to him, was a successful optician, managing optical stores in Buffalo until he and his wife Diane moved to Orlando, Florida before finally settling in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Donnie loved being with his friends traveling, making people laugh (including himself), telling jokes, exploring new restaurants and smoking cigars. His largest happiness came from his wife, children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Abraham, his mother Yetta and his brother Samuel. He is survived by his wife Diane (Lettman), his sister Shirley Salloway (Bill), his son Steve, daughters Rachel Menihan (Bryan), Lisa Waxman (Robert) and his grandchildren Ryan Wortman, Adam Wortman, Jacob Muscara, Jessica Muscara, Jordan Menihan and Brady Waxman.

A funeral service will be held Monday June 13, 2016 at 10:15am at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to:
