David And Bonnie Lilien
Dear Mary,We have such fond memories of Eddie over the years. He was always charming and friendly, and it was so obvious that he enjoyed life. He always had a funny thing to say, and his sense of humour was matched by his intelligence. When I was a young boy, you and Eddie were a presence in my life, and it was always fun when you and Betty would get together. You all were constantly laughing and having a good time. Being Bettyâ??s oldest and dearest friends, you both meant so much to her. Eddie always provided sound financial advice, and I know how much she valued this. I can still remember being at your wedding, playing with the other kids. I was 8 years old, but it was a big deal for me to actually get invited to such a beautiful simcha. It may be many years later, but I still appreciate that. And we also remember how honoured we were when you returned the favour by coming up to Toronto for our wedding 40 years ago. Life is so full of these enjoyable moments.Mary, I know that you, Debbie, Eileen, and the einekloch will miss Eddie so much, but I know that you will take comfort in the many happy memories you have.
