Edie and I became close friends almost from the moment we met in 1986. We both loved going to the movies at the Living Room on the campus of FAU. After watching a foreign film we would invariably share a carafe of wine and mull over the movie's plot. Sometimes people at a nearby table or our waiter would join the conversation !

I had the true blessing of being Edie,s care giver for one year, what a joy to know and love her. She was wonderful to me, gave me good advice about life, and I will never forget this wonderful lady. I know she is with God and her family is so blessed to have her As a mom, grandmother, and her friends as well. I will miss her forever. I love you Edie, your Daunn Munn
Edie was one of my guide posts for old age. I have never known a more vibrant, alive person and I will cherish her wonderful lessons for how to live a full and happy life. I send all my love to Paul, Leslie and their families and of course, to Nancy, who I know is deeply sad for the lose of a splendid mother-in-law.
