Today we announce the passing of our beloved mother, the matriarch of our family, Eileen (Chaika) Flum (born March 31, 1931) of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Merrick and Brooklyn, NY. Eileen was the devoted wife of Dr. Leonard Fl Read Obituary
Eileen was beyond a wonderful neighbor. Her friendship was an extraordinary blessing and gift. Among our regrets is that we only had her as a friend for three short years. So we all begin the new year with a great loss.
Because of Eileen’s warmth and her welcome invitations, I enjoyed music and meals I would not have discovered without her. We even enjoyed her soup!
Her best example was how strongly she loved to be a mother to her children and grandchildren. I admired her wisdom and devotion and her wise advice. I often told Eileen that she was
my role model on how I wanted
to live. deep into my eighties.
I extend our condolences during this sad and difficult time. May you and the family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and may you find comfort in your memories.
