The return flight passed low and directly over a set of building sized rocks at the mouth of Rock Creek, where I sail from. Had always suspected there was a narrow channel between them, but give them a wide berth regardless. There is a path between them, thanks Mom, saw it clearly from the air. Just like Mom to always teach how to overcome obstacles, either go through or around, but just go, don’t stop, and plot carefully. I’m marking the path “Mom’s Way” on my chart and will enjoy fond memories weekly. At night, the rocks display a 4 second white flashing light, a mother’s L-O-V-E, and her light will shine for eternity. She was a beacon to everyone she met, and her legacy to family and friends will be remembered forever. Love, Lou
