When I think of Carver, I think of Ellin Goldstein. She was not just my colleague but also a dear friend who inspired me with her love for learning and literature. During my planning period, I often found myself visiting the media center, hoping for a meaningful conversation with her. I admired her strength, spirit, and resilience. Despite our differences in age, ethnicity, and religion, we shared many values and mindsets. She was truly a Mensch. May the memory of her life forever be a blessing.
